Day 91: Cheese

It seems like every year growing up we took a big family picture (on trade of course). We alternated dress codes. Some years casual, other years Sunday dress. One year VERY formal. Western themed, matching sweaters... we did it all. I have good memories of those family pictures, and am thankful that you scheduled them so often to document our lives. Good thing we're all so photogenic!

Here are all the pics I could find, in no particular order:

  1. Classy is sassy--especially in the tuxes and Gunni-Sac dresses.

And how have I never seen the plaid/denim western style pic with bales of hay before? Love it!

  2. Haha, you're busted for using "mother never knew" as a tag. Why are Dad and I the only ones without long hair in the second picture? It's fun seeing the different styles and faces and mullets through the ages. This is such a fun post.

  3. I loved all of those dresses (except for the plaid skirt--that was never my favorite picture). What fun memories. I remember tearing my white dress (2nd picture from the bottom) on the corner of the coffee table as we were walking out the door and throwing an absolute fit because I had been planning my outfit for weeks. Mom assured me she would make sure my dress was arranged so the tear wouldn't show, and it didn't. I think of that when ever I see that picture!
